Role Based Workflow Modeling

Role based workflow modeling relates to organization modeling and authorization modeling in two aspects. This paper proposes a role-based access control (RBAC in abbreviation) based organization model and authorization model according to the characteristic of user organization and authorization in workflow management systems, which separate users and their authority from each other, and users authority and authorization can be handled apart. It improves the workflow process definition model by using Petri net and role and organization unit mapping.lt utilizes the mapping between the Petri net and role, unit of organization to improve the process definition model of workflow.
