Abstract :
As the market environment has been changed by power system reform, power supply enterprises have to improve their management efficiency to reduce cost. Equipment maintenance management was a problem of pure technology. And now it is being transformed into a balance of cost and benefit. In this paper a method called status-based maintenance (SBM) is proposed, and it helps to make plans of equipment maintenance by comprehensive assessment of equipments. Considering equipment basic information, real-time status, investment cost, maintenance cost, fault losses, and other factors, risk analysis and profit analysis of equipment are carried out. Furthermore, SBM is applied into enterprise asset management (EAM) system. This helps to introduce advanced management ideas and scientific methods, and make the power equipment maintenance more reasonable and scientific.
