Abstract :
We have proposed the optical true-time delay beam-forming system using a tunable DCM and a multi-wavelength fiber ring laser for phased array antenna. The time-delay difference between wavelengths which is assigned for the each antenna elements originated from the wavelength dependence of the DCM. As a result, a DCM could be used to obtain the radiation angle of 180° by tuning the dispersion of the DCM at the fixed wavelengths of the fiber ring laser in the proposed optical true-time delay.
