Abstract
We proposed a Mach-Zehnder interferometer with asymmetric two-core photonic crystal fiber (AS-TC-PCF) and investigated its strain sensitivity by monitoring the interference fringe shift with changing strain. The strain sensitivity measured -0.53 pm/με and -0.23 prn/με.
