Abstract :
This article analyzes two types of SF6 electrical equipment discharge failure: hard failure (the discharge channel mainly consists by SF6 gas insulator only. Electric insulation beyond retrieve after high energy discharge) and soft failure (the discharge channel mainly consists by SF6 gas insulator only or with solid insulator, Electric insulation can be retrieved after high energy discharge); Determine a field fast method to detect the main characteristic gas SO2 and H2S caused by SF6 Electrical equipment discharge failure; Expatiated on the standard of SF6 electrical equipment discharge failure and its application, according to which types positions and current of discharge could be determined.
