Abstract :
According to ASTM and DIN international standard and other equivalent GB standards, we finished a lot of experiments on physical chemical properties and electric performance of EHV transformer oil. Based on the experiments data, Kelamayi EHV Transformer Oils are compared with SHELL Diala oil used by EHV Power Transmission Co. Aiming at the special characteristics of EHV Transformer Oils, oil-flow electrification is first proposed as an evaluation index for EHV Transformer Oils replaced by domestically made oils in China. The experiment data is shown in Table 1 below. This paper researches into the most important properties of these six EHV oils. Such as kinematic viscosity, solidification point, Dielectric breakdown voltage, Dissipation factor, volume resistivity, Particle count, Oxidation stability and gassing tendency, Oxidation inhibitor content by mass. Domestic Kelamayi oils, which typed KI50AX and KI50GX are blended with SHELL Diala oil in different ratios to carry out mixed oils experiments. Research results show that Kelamayi EHV Transformer Oils which named KI50AX and KI50GX are superior to SHELL Diala oil in general properties. These two domestic made EHV transformer oils can be used in HVDC converter transformer and can be blended with SHELL Diala oil in any ratios.
