Abstract
In this paper the analysis of the behavior of disposition of the lattice in a ground plane is presented. A little shift in resonance frequency was observed and an important grows in the antennas bandwidth. Based on the concept of incident and reflected waves (WCIP method) the scattering coefficients are obtained for each ground plane model. The iterative procedure applies the fast modal transform (FMT) to change the analysis between spatial and spectral domains. The simulation results are obtained with WCIP software. The decrease in operation resonance frequency and broadband are one of the goals in the compact transmitters/receivers development.
