Abstract :
The proliferation of the Internet and increasing data delivery speeds has facilitated the exchange of multimedia products, both in legal and illegal ways. Digital watermarking offers promise for effective content and copyright protection of digital multimedia. We present an audio watermarking system based on a modified perceptual entropy psychoacoustic model and spread spectrum algorithm. By using better perceptual masking, adaptive insertion of the watermark, blind detection and a better synchronization scheme, this approach provides improved robustness, greater capacity and needs lower computation than similar approaches.
