Abstract
Discrete wavelet transform (DWT) is a time-frequency analysis technology, which detects the subtle small changes in the signal spectrum and can improve the SNR(signal-to-noise ratio). Based on the DWT, considering the sinusoidal signal has a particular autocorrelation trait, it is possible to detect the unknown weak signal in power noise. Multiple statuses are studied, when sinusoidal signal are disturbed by white noise or colored noise. Finally, the paper offers a simulation results.
