Abstract :
The Reactive power compensation is one of the important measures for lowering energy loss. The reactive power compensation of substation can select switching pattern according to different stages and capacities, but the determination of switching time and capacity is lace of necessary theoretical bases. The system can obtain typical day-load curve through the analysis of the change of load during certain stage and can calculate more rational switching time and capacity. This has certain guiding significance to set the reactive power compensation plan.
