Abstract :
The author postulates future information management requirements, before, during, and after a physical naval airborne mission, to insure that data available are presented to the operator as useful information in a timely and efficient manner. Two functions, tactical planning and pilot planning, are discussed. The mission planning implementation, and analysis system are described in detail. Portions of data from various databases in different time domains are combined to enhance awareness and present alternate corrective actions. A large share of this distillation is done on the ground both before and after a mission
