Abstract :
With China´s rapid economic development, there is a new trend, which is symbolized as rural urbanization and urbanization of towns. Shanghai as the first representative of the cities is gradually entering the ranks of the international metropolis. How to acclimatize themselves to this new trend has become a big problem faced with all power supply companies. In order to support urbanization of the electricity needs, urbanization electricity load characteristics, the paper concludes the mature experience of Shanghai in the area of power supply. A research, which is made in the control area of Hunan power supply branch smepc, is done to investigate the existing regional electricity demand and supply approach of central city of the typical characteristics. These regions include Jinjiang commercial region, south Taipingqiao residential region, north Taipingqiao commercial and entertainment region, etc. Based on the Index System of the State Grid Corporation´s ldquostrong gridrdquo, the typical urban centers City Power Index System and the typical forms of power supply are proposed, as a reference for high-end power supply for future cities.
