Abstract :
Image fusion is the technique in which more than one images are fused to create new image where all the objects are focus, so that the fuse image is more suitable for human and machine perception. For medical diagnosis purpose the edge & outlines of the interested object is more important than other information. In terms of this we proposed a new medical image fusion scheme based on mixing of maximum pixel replacement & contrast based method in wavelet domain & there effect by changing the resolution of image. The visual experiments and quantitative assessments demonstrate the effectiveness of this method compared to present image fusion schemes, specially for medical images.
