Abstract :
A new analytical method for the analysis of steady-state processes in single-phase cycloconverters has been developed. The z-transform is used to derive the equation governing the cycloconverter´s current. An analytical solution of the problem is obtained. Physical experiments have been carried out to verify the results obtained. Good agreement between theoretical and experimental results is observed
