Abstract :
This paper attempts to predict and evaluate both the equalization performance and the carrier phase recovery performance of the multimodulus algorithm (MMA) and the constant modulus algorithm (CMA) followed by a blind carrier phase recovery algorithm (CPRA) with arbitrary two-dimensional symmetric signal constellations based on their error surface curvatures in the neighborhoods of the stationary points.
