  • Abstract
    This paper presents a position about the use of VRML to help computer aided instruction of microelectronics. A course is introduced that is under construction using a browser as a primary user interface and the WWW multiplatform protocols. The hypertext and multimedia features increase the teaching potential, in addition to technologies like VRML, which is used to build 3D descriptions of integrated circuits. Some examples of VRML applications are shown
