Abstract :
An advance technique combined nano-TiO2 photodynamic with immunity and electroporation methods performs high efficiency for photokilling LoVo cancer cells even at very low concentration (3.12 μg/ml). The results showed that LoVo cells could be killed completely within 30 min using this method. The mechanism of this process was investigated using confocal flourescent microscopy, TEM and comet assay methods. Few animal experimental results showed that this combining technique has the ability to inhibit the growth of LoVo tumor of nude mouse. There is a possibility to develop further this combining method as an efficient photodynamic therapy technique.
