Abstract :
To realize efficient solution of complicated multi-scale conducting objects, non-conformal, non-overlapped integral equation based domain decomposition method (IE-DDM) is developed. Based on Robin transmission condition, the normal continuity of surface currents on non-conformal touching faces is maintained. Different fast solvers like multilevel fast multipole algorithm, adaptive cross approximation can be used for different sub-domains. The flexibility of the present method enables us efficient analysis of electromagnetic scattering from 3D multi-scale objects. Some examples are shown in order to demonstrate the ability of the IE-DDM.
