    Logarithm-based image processing methods are of interest since they have the capability to enhance low-contrast images. This paper presents an overview of the three logarithm-based image processing techniques: the multiplicative homomorphic system (MHS), the log-ratio (LR) and the logarithmic image processing model (LIP).
