Abstract :
The year 2010 was the first year of 3D TV. Although most of them required users to put special glasses on, glass-free 3D TV is going to be available in the consumer market soon. In parallel, the resolution of the display has continuously been improving. In 2010, Full HD resolution (2K1K) was popular in the consumer market, and 4K2K was available in the industrial market. It will be possible to develop consumer 4K2K products in near future. Considering a human vision system, a wall size display with 8K4K resolution is required to realize a high fidelity immersive vision system. It is called a super reality system, and the super reality with 3D and high resolution is one of the trends toward 2020.
