Abstract :
We report the development of very low microwave attenuation CPW (coplanar waveguide) electrode structures (α0 of the order of 0.3 dB/cm (GHz)1/2) and practical realization of fully-connectorized Ti:LiNbO3 optical modulators with band widths of 32 GHz and 26 GHz (dB, electrical) and DC driving voltages of 4.3 V and 3.3 V respectively at 1.552 μm
