Abstract :
In this paper, a comprehensive evaluation system of modern agriculture development is established, which is consisting of 4 primary indexes (infrastructure element, industrialization development element, output efficacy element, sustainable development element), and 18 secondary indexes. Factor analysis approach is described and applied to the fuzzy synthetic evaluation analysis on each province (city, area) in China, and data were obtained from the statistic data of 2006. The results show that the comprehensive index of modern agricultural development of Hebei province in 2006 is 0.2555 points, rank 12th in 31 provinces, at average national level. Top 5 cities of modern agriculture development are Beijing, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Tianjin and Jiangsu, and last 5 cities are Yunnan, Gansu, Qinghai, Guizhou and Tibet.
