Abstract :
SnCl4-5H2O, Sb2O3, and Gd(NO3)3 were used as the precursors to prepare the film of rare earth Gd doping SnO2/Sb coating anode by coprecipitation method. The phenolic wasterwater was treated by the Gd doping SnO2/Sb coating anode. The factors affecting the degradation rate of phenol were examined, such as the electrolyte concentration, current density, solution pH , solution temperature and doping Gd. The experimental results show that the rare earth Gd doping SnO2/Sb coating anode has good effect on the degradation of phenol. Under the conditions of Na2SO4 concentration 0.2 mol/L , current density 0.06 A/cm2, solution pH 3 and solution temperature 25°C , the degradation ratio of the phenol is 91.18% for 1.0h of oxidation and 99.37% for 2.5h.
