Abstract :
Brushless doubly fed generator(BDFG) is attractive with the development of wind power generation. This paper focuses on the design of BDFG. After representing the configuration and principle, the design procedure of BDFG is studied, three different types are analyzed using FEA particularly, and the rotor with the best coupling capability is selected. These analyzed conclusions will lay the foundation for BDFG application.
