Abstract
The authors formulate power system voltage security assessment as an optimization problem, which considers control effects. This optimization problem is decomposed into two sub-problems. With the Arnoldi algorithm, the sub-problems can be solved efficiently. Their approach is proven effective on a modified IEEE 118-bus system
