Abstract :
A hybrid of Clonal Selection Algorithm and Frequency Sampling Method (CSA-FSM) is employed to design a 2D FIR filter in this paper. The algorithm is applied to optimize the sampled frequencies of transition band of digital filters, then producing a planar response matrix of a 2D FIR digital filter. The stimulation results show the passband ripples and stopband attenuation of 2D FIR filters, the proposed methodology is better than those designed by well-known methods.
