Abstract :
The global wine industry has been evolved along the last decades. The entrance of the New World producer countries and small and medium wineries have impacted the competition scenery. Thus, business strategies have surged to compete properly. Clustering is the business schemes that have allowed to smaller wineries to pursue in their markets penetration. This approach requires collaboration among the different entities involved to develop competitive advantage to attain the target markets without incurring much costs. Furthermore, the use of technologies could enhance the opportunities and effectiveness to cooperate within electronic marketplaces. The aim of this paper was to propose an e-collaboration framework for clusters of the Chilean wine industry. This framework is developed under the Service-Dominant Logic paradigm, since clusters are configured to cultivate service-based and knowledge-based relations to co-create value within the clusters and with customers. This model utilizes the Technology-organization-environment (TOE) framework and resource-based-view (RBV) theories to analyze further the context and the internal resources of the Chilean wine clusters that would enable and foster e-collaboration.
