Some algorithms for discrete systems with eigenvalue seperation

This paper discusses some of the computational algorithms usually employed in the analysis of linear, discrete systems having the eigenvalue separation property. The algorithms include matrix balancing and feedback control design through a unified approach and providing efficient numerical techniques.
