The turn of the millennium potentially affects not only data processing systems but also products, systems and equipment used in the power transmission and distribution sector. Siemens´ Y2K assessment and strategy for the T&D sector summarized below is showing a small part only of Siemens´ Action 2000 task force activities running worldwide to make the turn of millennium for their customers and them as smooth as possible
