Abstract :
A summary of research in the area of visual displays for negotiation support systems (NSSs) is presented and some guidelines are extracted. The operations and visual displays of four NSSs, are surveyed in detail: Policy PC, DecisionMaker, GDS1 (NEGO), and MEDIANSS. The four systems in question are discussed and analyzed in terms of graphics, color, text, ease of understanding and use of metaphors. Finally, a checklist for NSS visual displays is presented
