Abstract :
Here a line driver is presented without loss of voltage or current in the output impedance. The buffer automatically adapts its output impedance to the load impedance. The buffer output impedance is insensitive to process variations and the buffer automatically re-adapts its output impedance if a cable with another impedance is connected. The line driver is implemented in 0.35 /spl mu/m standard CMOS.
