Abstract :
Delta arithmetic circuits can be shown to operate well even when Sigma-Delta signals are used. Thus, Sigma-Delta signals can be directly processed using either the dedicated Delta arithmetic operation circuits, or the classic digital arithmetic (PCM) circuits followed by a remodulator. In this work, Delta circuits are examined and their noise performance is compared with that of the PCM circuits followed by a first or second order remodulator
