Abstract :
In this paper a multi-functional DVR is presented which not only compensates voltage sag and swell but also can limit currents due to fault in load side and overcome to problems caused by system frequency variation. Also minimum energy theory for reducing active power that consuming or injecting is applied. As a case study 13-bus IEEE industrial distribution system is simulated to verify operation of multi-purpose DVR.
