  • Abstract
    The iris recognition as a biometric technology for personal identification and verification has become a hot research topic, and thus variety of recognition algorithm systems are emerging continuously. In an iris recognition system, the location of the iris is the first step, at the same time which plays a crucial role in the succeeding content. A new iris location about the combination of a rough research and piontwise detection is presented in this paper according to the traditional positioning methods, which win out of the simple procedures, fast speed and real-time application.
