  • Abstract
The computer simulation is a powerful tool for assessment of the SVM (Space-Vector-Modulation) strategy and inverter. The methods to building the simulation model for them are analyzed, and a new modeling method is proposed and discussed. The new method models the SVM and inverter as a whole based on the start point of the SVM. The method to computing the DC link current is given based on the three-phase current. Finally the typical application of SVM and inverter in motor control is simulated, and the results verify the simulation method and model.
