Abstract

In the paper, the concentration of outdoor PM10 in more than 20 provinces in recent years is analyzed. It aims at providing a theoretical foundation for the calculation of filter selection in the air-conditioning system. By collecting data and curve fitting, the recommended concentration of PM10 in the design of air-conditioning is determined. The results show that: during the calculation of filter selection, firstly, for the air-conditioning system running in the whole year, the recommended mean concentration of outdoor PM10 is between 0.08 and 0.12mg/m³; secondly, for those air-conditioning system which is running only in the air-conditioning season (from May to September), it is between 0.07 and 0.09mg/m³.
