Abstract
We propose a novel dual-band power divider with simple architecture and excellent in-band/out-of-band performances in this paper. Benefitting from the three transmission zeros introduced, the frequency selectivity of the passbands is significantly improved. Explicit design equations are derived using the even-/odd-mode analysis. For verification, a power divider with the bands at 1.03 and 1.97 GHz (a ratio of 1.9) was implemented. The circuit topology, design formulae, and simulated and measured results are investigated in detail throughout this paper.
