Abstract :
A unified frequency-domain approach to analyze Hopf and period-doubling bifurcations in nonlinear maps with delay is presented. The technique relies on the HBA (harmonic balance approximation) and feedback systems theory. The expressions of the bifurcation solution and the stability are obtained. One example is used to verify the result obtained.
