Abstract :
Basic relations and operations of fuzzy multisets which are also called fuzzy bags are newly introduced and their theoretical properties are described using a grade sequence. Application of fuzzy multisets to fuzzy relational database systems is considered: handling of fuzzy multirelations and extension of a query language are discussed
