Abstract
This paper presents an adaptive model reduction method. This method is based on the continuous-time rational orthogonal basis (Takenaka-Malmquist basis). By selecting optimal points for the rational orthogonal basis, it is to find a fast approximation in the energy sense. The steady-state values of step responses are kept to be equal, and the stability of the order-reduced models is remained.
