  • Abstract
This paper presents a new laboratory experiment, which was developed to teach teacher training in mechatronics engineering students at King Mongkut´s University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB). The main issues regarding fuzzy logic control (FLC) for controls the electro-hydraulic systems (EHS), is discussed. In this experiment consider the use of Nation Instruments´ LabVIEW™ with the associated data acquisition (DAQ) and control toolset to develop FLC. For the EHS consists of a power unit, a proportional valve, an amplifier card, a cylinder, and a position sensor. A motivation for FLC and a laboratory experiment in this field is given. The implementation of the experiment is discussed, and the experiment is evaluated. This experiment shows that FLC for controls the EHS can be taught in an uncomplicated manner.
