Abstract
For utilization in electric power control and information systems, we have developed human-machine interfaces using speech recognition technologies. In the electric power field, the technical importance of human-machine interfaces is rising. Our demands in future systems are to realize rapid, correct understanding of power systems and furthermore false operation prevention functions are desirable. Generally, in the field of plant operation, a kind of voice alarm interface using speech synthesis has been developed and implemented before. But, in these systems, the advanced use of speech recognition technologies has not been fully considered. In the paper, we propose two efficient speech-input interfaces and also describe initial implementation of the system and its evaluation
