Abstract :
This paper presents experimental investigation of interaction between surface acoustic wave and 2D surface PnCs. The PnC is made of 2D array of resonant Ni pillars arranged in different symmetries lattices, and deposited on LiNBO3 (Y128 cut) substrate. Measurements of transmission spectra (amplitude, phase) was exploited to demonstrate the existence of opening band-gaps originating from local resonant state and Bragg gap scattering.
