Abstract :
The optimal control based on linear quadratic algorithm was applied on the temperature control of steel plate on the runout table especially with ultra fast cooling combining with laminar cooling. Based on the unit water flow, target temperature and different cooling route, the optimal algorithm is built. The precise temperature control and water flow control are achieved.
