  • Abstract
Steam generated from boiler in medical waste incinerator is seldom used due to its production and parameters are unstable. In this paper, three different utilization systems, namely power generation with adoption of condensing steam turbine, co-generation and combined cooling heating and power system (CCHP) of steam generated from the heat recovery boiler of 72t/d medical waste incineration in a hazardous waste disposal center are discussed respectively. The result shows that the CCHP may be a good choice taking into account cooling in summer and heating in winter in Shanghai. In the system of CCHP, when selecting the type of B1.03-2.1/0.3 back-pressure turbine, the generated energy is 1030kW, refrigerating quantity is 7668kW in summer and heating output is 18105kW in winter. Additionally, the effect of steam parameter fluctuations on the generation power is discussed.
