Abstract :
This paper analyses the characteristics of the arc furnace electrode regulator system, and also a design of fuzzy-PID control system. In order to to improve the performances of the fuzzy controller, the genetic algorithm is introduced to optimize parameter of fuzzy-PID controller. The simulations show that satisfied control effects can be achieved using optimal parameter of fuzzy-PID based on genetic algorithm.
