  • Abstract
    The effects of ions in the liquid on the leaky surface acoustic wave (leaky SAW) propagating along liquid/layered-substrate structures are examined by the numerical calculation and the experiment. The ions affect on the conductivity as well as the elastic property of the liquid. In order to use these devices as liquid sensors, the examination should be performed by using the plural substrates which have different leaky SAW propagation character
