Abstract :
A similarity measure is a useful tool for determining the similarity of two objects. In this paper, based on the LP, metric, we discuss similarity measures of fuzzy rough sets determined by a triangular norm. We first review basic concepts related to intuitionistic fuzzy sets and fuzzy rough sets. By regarding a fuzzy rough set as an intuitionistic fuzzy set and by employing the LP, metric, we then propose several reasonable measures to calculate the degree of similarity between fuzzy rough sets and between elements in a class of fuzzy rough sets.
