Abstract :
A non-contact vibration measuring technique based on high-frequency airborne ultrasound Doppler is studied and an industrial application is presented. The influence of several different parameters such as carrier signal amplitude variations, turbulent hot air and surface structures are investigated. It is shown that it is possible to perform remote vibration measurements with high accuracy using ultrasound
