Abstract
In modern democracies, egovernance promises a plethora of benefits to citizens by accelerating and automating government-citizen interface and bringing about transparency in government functioning. This paper highlights ICT as an effective tool for better decision-making in the government sector using egovernance. The study evolves the various factors in the decision making at state and district administration in government sector. The prescribed study contains the analysis of use of ICT and effect of ICT in the better administration in government sector and impact of egovernance in district administration.
